Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Strong Validation experience working on part acceptance and process qualification.
- Provide technical support on injection moulding processes (tooling, materials, cycle times, defects)
- Manage and develop supplier quality performance for injection moulded components.
- Conduct supplier audits (process, system, and product) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure suppliers meet material and specification requirements (e.g., resins, additives, tolerances).
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by validating supplier capability and process readiness.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design for manufacturability (DFM) improvements.
- Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
- Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
- Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR
- Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience working with injection moulding processes, including tooling, materials (thermoplastics), and process optimisation.
- Proven track record in supplier quality management, including audits, performance monitoring, and supplier development.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and validating supplier process capability.
