Senior Test Engineer
Our Clients purpose:
At our clients Test Engineering department in Galway, they focus on the development of Automated Test Processes for electronic based products and are directly involved in supporting the delivery of new projects for the Patient Monitoring Business. The Patient Monitoring business includes technologies that provide insights and intelligence to help clinicians reduce dangerous and costly patient complications in acute care.
 
Role duties
  • Design and develop Automated Test Systems for electronic based Products.
  • Develop test specifications/requirements for functional test processes.
  • Provide timely test support of production activities.
  • Troubleshoots test failures and proposes efficient and quality-driven solutions.
  • Provide detailed feedback and analysis on test yields.
  • Maintain and repair electronic and mechanical test systems.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement on existing Test Systems/Processes.

  • Follow all environmental, health & safety rules and procedures and participate in safety and environmental activities in order to improve the workplace for all employees
 
Key Skills & Experience
  • Level 8 Degree in Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Electronic Design and / or Test Development.
  • Experience with Test Automation and embedded systems.
  • Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and PCB schematics.
  • Working knowledge of analog/digital electronics essential.
