The Senior R&D Program Manager will have the opportunity to lead highly skilled diverse teams, passionate for success and driven in the pursuit of our mission, to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Some of the aspects you can look forward to are as follows:
- Be the Core Team Leader on our key new product development projects. The role of a Core team leader is to direct and manage a cross functional team in the execution of a project with tasks including, project scoping, resource and budget planning, risk mitigation and Stakeholder management.
- Solves issues through information exchange, influence and active persuasion without direct exercise of command to gain cooperation of other parties on program execution plans.
- Leads, directs and reviews the work of a team, experienced professionals and/or vendors who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Manage, motivate and develop team members including vendors to complete an assigned major program or project.
Key Skills & Experience
- Level 8 Degree in Engineering / Science or related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
- Strong proven track record in program management in a regulated environment.
- Medical device product development experience required.
- Technical experience in DOE, Six Sigma, DFM etc.
- Competent in Stakeholder management.
- Experience in working with physicians to identify unmet therapy needs.
- Flexibility to travel ~10% of time desirable.
