This is a very exciting opportunity to join a growing team on a permanent basis
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team to determine their electrical supply needs. Ensure a clear understanding of the specifications and quantities required.
  • Research and evaluate potential suppliers of electrical supplies, based on criteria such as quality, price, reliability, and service.
  • Request quotes and proposals from (multiple) suppliers. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best deals. Place orders and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock. Implement inventory management systems to track usage and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of received supplies. Address any issues with defective or non-compliant products.
  • Work within allocated budgets for purchasing. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with institutional policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and correspondence with suppliers.


Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Typically requires a degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, particularly with electrical supplies or within a technical environment: 3-5 years
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical components and systems.
