Process Technician

  • ​Purpose:
    This position has the primary function of ensuring that equipment downtime is kept to a minimum.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for performing functions associated with operations; including working with engineers.
    • Performance Monitoring & Maintenance of high scale Automation Equipment.
    • Identify deteriorating trends, investigate, and action all scrap and alarms
    • Identifying and monitoring production machine parameters.
    • Ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Identifying machine faults and production rate errors.
    • Reporting faults and breakdowns to supervisors and production engineers.
    • Maintaining a clean and safe production area.
    • Responsible for the execution of process PMs and calibrations.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred but not required.
    3+ years' experience as a process technician.
    Excellent analytical and observational skills.
    ​
    Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes.

    Genuine passion for equipment and if have worked previously as a mechanic would be considered.
