Operational Excellence Project Lead


Contract 12 months
€100-€120 p/h

Responsibilities:
  • You will support the manufacturing site transformation through application of operational excellence principles and practices ensuring elimination of waste and developing value stream flow, engaging everyone in excellence in order to deliver vital products, at the right time, quality and cost
  • Lead and drive Operational Excellence Transformation at functional level through the development and implementation of a sustainable improvement system that enables the Site to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its processes.
  • Support our Clients’ Senior Management Team with gathering data and analysis to manage the operational excellence change portfolio
  • Develop and maintain Operational Excellence tools to increase the efficiency of data gathering and analysis
  • Identify improvement projects in close collaboration within the facility by identifying root causes of variances and to recommend solutions. Areas of focus and improvement include Operational Excellence, Supplier Management, Quality, Technology and Innovation, Financial Management, Leadership and Culture.
  • Assist in planning, execution and monitoring of continuous improvement activities
  • Assist in training assessors in the use of Operational Excellence and Lean tools
  • Identify appropriate metrics to improve results and monitor the progress
 
 Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science and a minimum of 7 to 10 years’ progressive engineering/manufacturing experience including 3 or more in the direct management of group/team
  • Black Belt Certification mandatory with knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies required
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution of global projects
  • In depth experience and understanding of the end to end Supply Chain including Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Customer Operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence a cross-functional team and challenge the status quo/change agent in order to deliver business results
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong work ethic, attention to detail and organizational/multi-tasking skills
