Lead Electrical Tester
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Electrical Technician to work as part of our Client’s Electrical team.
Responsibilities:
  • Detailed testing and inspection of Electrical Control Panels
  • Interpretation of 2D/3D drawings and electrical schematics
  • Responsibility for implementing and maintaining ISO9001 procedures
  • Assist with the completion of key power up and set up tasks such as IO Checks, Safety Resetting and Safety checks.
  • Develop an understanding of the key stages which play a part in all projects and of what it takes to ensure the completion of each stage is done as it should be.
  • Liaise and engage with Engineering teams
  • Updating and maintaining quality documentation
  • Participation in Problem Solving activities
  • Electrical Testing of Control Panels on customer sites as required.
  • Work on various stages of the equipment life cycle such as design, build, install and commissioning.
  • Adhering to regulations and working to health and safety standards.
  • Identifying faults and fixing faults or arranging for them to be repaired.
 
Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience in a similar Lead Electrical Technician position
  • Qualified Electrician, at a minimum.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical codes (NEC, IEC).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
