Extrusion Team Lead
Responsibilities:
  • Produce/package/label all products to meet or exceed all quality specifications per shop order, QCIC’s and all other required documents provided.
  • Operates various manufacturing and measurement equipment in a safe and orderly manner and notifies Supervisor or Production Manager when operating problems occur or when standards cannot be met.
  • Meet or exceed all due dates assigned to the manufacturing shop order.
  • Responsible for all products manufactured.
  • Understanding of documentation system including reading comprehension, writing and how to complete documents accurately.
  • May assist engineering or manufacturing technicians with validation of processes, product and tooling.
  • Understand and follow gowning processes and procedures while maintaining a clean and presentable work station.
  • Train cell operators and make sure standard work is being followed.
  • Train cell operators and update MDI charts and maintain daily production schedule for assigned part numbers.
  • Responsible for managing payroll of assigned team members.
  • Complete and participate in 5S audits, update and maintain cell action list and monitor counter measures daily.
  • Be actively involved in layered audits and daily problem solving using lean tools.
