The Opportunity
This role will see you supporting the full tender lifecycle for large-scale renewable and HV infrastructure projects—including grid connections, wind, solar, and BESS. You’ll be based at the Cork office (Little Island), working alongside project managers, planners, and a wider team of multidisciplinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tendering activities for major renewable and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Lead the end-to-end tender process: from scope review through to final submission.
- Assemble and assess subcontractor quotes, ensuring specification compliance.
- Attend pre- and post-tender meetings and liaise directly with key stakeholders.
- Perform accurate take-offs and prepare cost estimates from drawings and technical documents.
- Regularly update management on bid opportunities and strategy.
- Coordinate with internal departments and support the preparation of winning bids.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; trade background advantageous.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to HV or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of project specifications, technical documents, and tendering procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A genuine interest in renewable energy and a desire to grow within a forward-thinking business.
