Are you looking for the next step in your career as an electrical designer. If so, we are looking for you to join a growing Electrical Supply company based in Cork city.
Note: A valid working visa is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using Eplan software.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for all designs.
  • Conduct design reviews and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of design processes and standards.


Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in electrical design, preferably using Eplan software.
  • Experience in designing electrical systems for industrial automation, control panels, or similar applications.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Eplan Electric P8 and other relevant Eplan software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, NEC, and other relevant electrical codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
