The Role
As a Civil Estimator / Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale projects across Ireland, with particular focus on civil works in the energy and infrastructure sectors. You will provide estimating and quantity surveying support from the tender stage through to project completion.

The Role
As a Civil Estimator / Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale projects across Ireland, with particular focus on civil works in the energy and infrastructure sectors. You will provide estimating and quantity surveying support from the tender stage through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Tendering & Pre-Construction:
- Lead and support tendering activities for major civil projects
- Perform take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and ensure compliance
- Attend client and project meetings pre- and post-tender
- Collaborate with internal teams and advise on bid strategies
Quantity Surveying:
- Monitor compliance with contracts and commercial requirements
- Manage monthly applications, variations, claims, and cash flow forecasts
- Oversee subcontractor accounts from award to final payment
- Provide timely and accurate commercial reporting
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks
- Ensure project teams meet contractual obligations
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a relevant Civil Engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in civil estimating and quantity surveying
- Experience with high-voltage substations, T&D, or utility projects is a strong advantage
- Strong IT and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
