Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed automation solutions.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation equipment and software.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, including user manuals, maintenance procedures, and project reports.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automation engineering, with a proven track record of successful automation projects in the medical device industry
- Strong knowledge of automation systems, PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
